All the planets are just beginning to align properly and in harmony. Since the arrival (or rather, back) of the name Lotus Formula 1 many have been bickering about the authenticity of his portrayal of the legendary brand created by the genius of Colin Chapman and a lot is said about his future. There has been a year since the return of the legendary name to the “maximum” and have been tremendously busy waters announcing what is to come.
For a while he knows the conflict that exists between Tony Fernandez, the current head of the Lotus Racing squad and who bear the surname Chapman about himself, such is the case of his son, Clive Chapman, much more akin to an official with the people Proton.
The latter tandem (Chapman / Proton) is upset for some time with little positive exposure level of Lotus Racing in Formula 1 now and if we add to that the poor results of the litigation team and the use of the name, the equation will result in the Chapman / Proton want to green the laurels of Lotus otherwise.
In that sense the story is very likely to be confirmed officially on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Proton would stay with the only 25% that the house is currently Renault F1 team (Genii with majority shares of Capital) and thus Lotus Cars would be the main sponsor of the Renault is now over (at least) five seasons start counting from 2011, with a substantial contribution of 30 million euros per season.
This gives rise to several things: Lotus Cars, the legendary original name might actually return to the ring of Formula 1. The Chapman family support would fully to this “new” computer. Vitaly Petrov and so many of Russian capital in Renault would no longer be needed and then opened the game for drivers like Kubica is arriving Lotus or others might as well be Heidfeld.
Finally, the colors green and yellow would be a priority from 2011 Lotus Cars, while as previously reported, the current Lotus Racing (which is likely to call in next 1 Malaysia Team or something similar) should stop using them (it team knows that Tony Fernandez will race in 2011 with the black and gold).
Imagine something like 2011: Renault-powered Lotus (Carlos Goshn and said he wanted to see Renault in Formula 1 as a driver …), traditional English green and yellow colors with the original logo and a driver like Robert Kubica at the wheel. The rest will follow: Lotus will return to the podium.

One Response to “Proton will retain 25% of Renault F1, would be announced on Wednesday November 17”
