Although not spreading to much fanfare as they do make other brands, Volvo is slowly becoming one of the premier companies in the world for the automotive power. Its advanced development program is the Volvo C30 Electric central protagonist.
Since the first prototype was presented in late 2009, has not stopped the development of that model. So far about 50 units have been built to test its performance in different conditions, but now we have gone further and will begin in mass production model.
This new electric car so would initially restricted to the European market. The first recipients of the Volvo C30 will be Sweden, Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands, on dates yet to be determined. At first only be available to rent to businesses and governments. It will produce about 250 units by the end of 2012.
