The car has been identified as the oldest Rolls Royce in the world, a two-seater in 1904 with 10 HP, has been recently sold by Bonhams auction house for 3,521,500 pounds (about U.S. $ 7,117,856 at current exchange rates) which breaks two world records: the highest price paid for a Rolls Royce and the highest price paid for a vehicle before 1905.

Presented first at the Paris Motor Show in the last quarter of 2004, the RR was then exposed in February 2005 in London, the place where it was sold at auction was 102. Having passed through the hands of several owners over the decades, the car underwent a restoration process that lasted four years in the mid-50s and has remained with the same owner since 1978. It’s working perfectly now, with routine maintenance done to keep you on the slopes.
The car was sold to an English collector by phone, after his proposal to leave behind several others. The new owner plans to keep the car in the United Kingdom, where he will compete in classic car events.
