The Mexican Association of Automotive Industry (AMIA) reported a real increase of 34.9% in September in vehicle production in Mexico, while exports surged 44.3% in the same reporting period compared to the figures reported in 2009.
In its monthly report said the AMIA established assembly plants in Mexico produced 197 000 vehicles exported 418 169 000 510 during the ninth month of 2010. United States being the main recipient of automobiles that despite the slowdown in the economy continues to set the rite of vehicle export growth, but leaves the automotive market stocks to the growth projections issued by analysts said economy.
“They continue setting the pace of growth in vehicle production, however it should be stressed that these positive results should be taken with caution due to reservations that analysts have been growing expectations the U.S. economy,” said the association .
